Mimiko Dissolves Cabinet

Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has announced the dissolution of the
State Executive Council as well as all non-statutory boards and
parastatals.
Mimiko, who thanked the outgoing cabinet members and political office
holders for selfless service and dedication to the State, assured them
of his deep appreciation of their efforts in the past four years
Mimiko was sworn-in for a second term on Sunday.
He listed the affected office holders as commissioners, chairmen and
members of boards and parastatals, Senior Special Assistants, Special
Assistants and others who have served in positions other than statutory
commissions, adding that they cease to hold such political office, after
the announcement.
The dissolution, Mimiko said, excludes all appointees whose tenures
are not tied to the expiration of his government’s first term.
