This newspaper article about a Cavan robbery might be the most Irish thing ever

In what might be one of the most Irish stories we've ever heard, GardaĆ in Cavan are looking for some burglars who robbed potatoes through the roof of a village shop.
The burglary happened sometime between last Thurday night and Friday morning in Drumcrow when thieves broke the galvanised roof of a localshop. Other items taken include some cash, cigarettes and 22 packets of Panadol.

Wouldn’t bags of potatoes be a terribly awkward thing to steal? You wouldn't be able to make a very quick getaway, that's for sure.
