It was also gathered that the gunmen shouted ‘Didn’t we warn you not to vote’ in their local dialect as they attacked.

The original polling unit of the vice president at the Camp Road was surprisingly moved from there to Police College Polling Unit in the city centre.

Sambo failed to win in his polling unit and ward in Kaduna in the 2011 general elections.

(11:44am): Former Vice President and chieftain of APC, Atiku Abubakar being accredited at Ajiya Ward 2, Komihina, Jimeta, Yola, Adamawa State.

(11:34am): The card readers in Giza, Keana LG of Nasarawa state card readers has malfunctioned and voters await replacement.

The card reader malfunction has been rectified in Polling Unit 10 Ward 9 Calabar South and accreditation is ongoing.
