StartupStories: How has social media helped your career?

Wani Olatunde Photography : In my opinion, social media is the lifeblood of today's photographer. A few years back, Facebook was the place to be in terms of sharing and tagging clients etc. However with Facebook's constantly changing algorithms, Instagram has become the new favourite place for clients and vendors to hang out. You can post pictures straight away and tag your clients, vendor partners etc and they can then share it with their instafamily - it's really great (read easy and free) marketing. I would say at least half of my enquiries are as a result of work seen and shared on facebook and instagram. #standout9ja
